The Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) has launched a two-stage programme for large-scale industrial AI. It supports the development of specialised AI models that integrate domain and process knowledge, alongside data infrastructures, open standards and deployment in real industrial environments.
Consortia typically receive €10–20 million. The deadline for submissions is 1 November 2026.
