Dissertation Prize for Franziska Eberle
For her thesis „Scheduling and Packing Under Uncertainty“ Franziska Eberle receives the Dissertation Award 2021 of the Society for Operations Research. She received her PhD in the research group „Combinatorial Optimization and Logistics“ with Nicole Megow and started a postdoctoral position at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences on Sept. 1, 2021. Congratulations!
MMMIGS spokesperson wins prize for outstanding PhD supervision
Rolf Drechsler, spokesperson of the Minds, Media, Machines Integrated Graduate School, has been awarded by the University of Bremen with a prize for outstanding PhD supervision.
