Under Horizon Europe, the European Commission is funding an Innovation Action to bridge the gap between AI and robotics research and industrial deployment. The initiative focuses on modular and interoperable system integration, standards and protocols, safety testing, evaluation and validation, intelligent planning and control, and scalable robotics.
The topic (HORIZON-CL4-2027-04-DIGITAL-EMERGING-05) has a budget of €18 million, and one project is expected to receive funding. The call opens on November 17, 2026, and the deadline is March 18, 2027.
