The Driving Urban Transitions Partnership has launched its 2026 call for transnational research and innovation projects on sustainable urban development. The Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space (BMFTR) is participating on behalf of Germany.
This call is relevant for researchers working on smart cities, urban AI, human–environment interaction, and sustainable mobility. Most projects are expected to request a total of approximately €1–2 million.
The deadline for submissions is November 17, 2026.
