The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship enables researchers based in Germany to undertake a research stay abroad. The academic host must be a member of the Humboldt Network or hold one of a specified group of international academic awards.
The fellowship is open to researchers from Germany in all disciplines. It lasts 6–24 months for postdocs and 6–18 months for experienced researchers. The amount depends on the destination country and personal circumstances, and travel expenses are reimbursed separately.
Applications may be submitted at any time, with selection meetings held in February, June, and October.
