BBDC 2025 - Award ceremony

Just one more night’s sleep, and then it’s time: on Friday, May 23, 2025, the Bremen Big Data Challenge 2025 awards ceremony will take place at the Sparkasse Campus Space. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and the event starts at 2:00 p.m. This year’s BBDC is a very special event: first, we’re celebrating the tenth consecutive edition of the programming competition, and second, we’ve chosen a special theme this year: “AI meets Finance.” In line with this theme, we’re looking forward to an exciting keynote address by Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker titled “Cybersecurity in the Banking Sector: Challenges Between KRITIS and AI.” In addition to honoring the top teams, there will also be a relaxed networking session in the afternoon, inviting students, sponsors, and researchers from the Cognitive Systems Lab to mingle over coffee and cake.
