Oldenburg. On Monday, July 12, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., the SmartHelm project consortium, the smart house and the city of Oldenburg are hosting an interactive virtual discussion event entitled "Cargo bike logistics 2.0 - SmartHelm project".
Increasing pollution and noise levels as well as inner-city traffic jams make it necessary to find new ways of urban logistics. In this context, cargo bikes are becoming increasingly important as a means of transport to handle the growing volume of parcels in e-commerce.
What role can a smart bike helmet play in this? And what contribution can it make to improving the working conditions of courier drivers? Take part in our online event and find out. Various stakeholders from the project will use the example of the challenges and opportunities of Oldenburg city logistics to present how a smart bicycle helmet can contribute to the solution.
This event offers an insight into practice-oriented research and development for interested citizens. Get involved and join in the discussion!
We are looking forward to a varied program with contributions from: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tanja Schultz Cognitive Systems Lab, University of Bremen, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.
