How Do You Study a Future That Hasn’t Happened Yet? Prof. Benjamin Müller Has Ideas

If digital transformation will fundamentally reshape organisations, how can we study it before it is over?

On 4 November 2026, Prof. Benjamin Müller explores this question at the next MMM Brown Bag Seminar in his talk “Reaching past the Present – Foresight in Digital Transformation Research”.

Müller is Professor of Digital Business at the University of Bremen. He researches how digital technologies transform organisations, from augmented work to corporate digital responsibility. His talk looks at the limits of research anchored in the past and present, and at methods that engage with transformations whose endpoints we cannot yet see.

The talk is relevant to anyone working on how technology changes organisations and society, whether in business, communications, entrepreneurship, sociology or AI.
