The Driving Urban Transitions Partnership has opened its 2026 call for transnational research and innovation projects on sustainable urban development. The Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) participates for Germany.
The call is relevant for researchers working on smart cities, urban AI, human–environment interaction and sustainable mobility. Most projects are expected to request around €1–2 million in total.
The deadline for submissions is 17 November 2026.
