Under Horizon Europe, the European Commission is funding an Innovation Action to close the gap between AI and robotics research and industrial deployment. The topic focuses on modular and interoperable system integration, standards and protocols, safety testing, evaluation and validation, intelligent planning and control, and scalable robotics.
The topic (HORIZON-CL4-2027-04-DIGITAL-EMERGING-05) has a budget of €18 million, and one project is expected to be funded. The call opens on 17 November 2026, and the deadline is 18 March 2027.
