In the summer semester 2023, the Minds, Media, Machines Integrated Graduate School (MMMIGS) is offering a seminar for doctoral candidates who have recently started their doctorate. In the tenth session, we will discuss how doctoral candidates can prepare for participation in an academic conference. We will talk about how to choose a suitable conference and topic and how to prepare the necessary materials. We will also discuss planning which events to attend during the conference and which people to meet.
