The European Commission is calling for proposals to develop Virtual Human Twins: multi-scale, multi-organ models of individual patients. The models should connect AI and digital modelling with clinical decision support in prevention and diagnosis.
The topic (HORIZON-HLTH-2027-03-TOOL-04) has a budget of €39.3 million, with €10–12 million per project. The call opens on 3 June 2027, and the deadline is 22 September 2027.
